    SMART Air was engaged as part of the redesign of Domaine’s flagship head office in the Yarra Valley. This global luxury brand has to ensure attention to detail and respect for their pedigree in all they do.

    The head office redesign doubled the size of the premises, and use existing air conditioning units as well as installing three new units. This new climate control system needed to perform equally well over twice the floor size, and also address the issue of uncomfortably high temperatures for staff along the window side.

    SMART Air created an engineer-certified, innovative solution that resulted in less than one degree of temperature difference over 500 square metres. Further maintenance and fine tuning improved the building’s climate and ensured a comfortable environment for this world-class brand.

    Located in Melbourne’s most prestigious precinct, this stunning office redesign had to impress.

    With staff being affected by a hot office environment, SMART Air had to consider how to best make use of their existing equipment in the new space.

    SMART Air created a new design to address this issue, both providing a new unit for the space and designing the climate system for complete staff and client comfort.

    Over different zones, this private medical practice had a number of temperature challenges to overcome during the redesign.

    The treatment area had very specific airflow requirements, while the rest of the premises, including reception, was very cold. Asbestos in the eaves meant there was limited access issues in the roof, as well as a sagging ceiling (meaning there were variable conditions).

    SMART Air recommended one single split system at the perfect size for the whole house. This solution addressed both heating and cooling issues across all zones of the medical suite.
