• Getting the details right

    – Sam & Julie

This large house had its own ducted unit built with the house 14 years ago. In this entire time, the system had never worked well for the comfort of the owners.

When SMART Air investigated, they found that the duct work layout was deficient. It was damaged, undersized for the house layout, and the main supply upstairs had collapsed. This meant that the air wasn’t moving at all through the second floor.

With SMART Air’s redesign, the efficiency of the whole system increased to maximum capacity. Existing points of duct access between the ground and first floor were reconfigured, and a second area of return air was installed with minimal impact.

SMART Air was engaged to remove and replace a split system air conditioning unit on a balcony in a private apartment in South Melbourne. This also enabled the team to re-waterproof and re-tile the balcony and then install an evaporation tray.

“Stan and his team were absolutely fantastic and I really appreciated their honesty. The work is excellent, was done on time, the balcony looks fabulous… and the cost was very reasonable.” – Kay D.

After listening to the client’s needs, SMART Air presented a range of different reverse cycle split system units, covering efficiency, cost, and suitability to the space.

“Stan’s crew turned up on time, were courteous and mindful that they were in our house, and treated us with respect. They not only took the packaging with them but also completely cleaned up after they finished the job – as did the electricians that they used.” – Geoff
